At the last event in Mondello we had just over 30 cars on track. We expect it to be around this again.

There will also be a few bikes too!

IIRC you get a ticket in the post.
We will also put maps online closer to the time. However, if you can't wait then look here...

Going to miss it - flying out on at 3pm on the Saturday and I was really looking forward to getting a shot on the track as I only habe the car from just before Christmas (Christmas pressie to me!)

Any plans for another one later in the year or is anyone think of heading to knockhill in October for a blast with the Scots.  If a few are going I try to keep mt schedule clear for it.

I concur 110%!!

If you drive your car on a bit when on the road, the track will hold no fears for either yourself or your fine chariot - you only go as fast as you want, you only commit to a corner as much as you want. What I would say is I remember my first trackday & I went as a passenger - by the end of the first session I just wanted to get out there myself.

It is a bit intimidating to go out there the first time- you wonder about your own car, your own ability, the line of the track, braking points and learning the fastest/safest way around the circuit, there are cars around you to be aware of - will you be in their way, will you spin and if you do will you think you've made an eejit of yourself... not to mention damaging your car!

However, while the worries are real, it shouldn't and isn't an overriding factor. Everyone there is in the same boat, everyone has respect for themselves, their car, and others on the track. Also, cars and people are grouped on experience so by and large you have plenty of room infront and behind you and plenty of time to figure out what's going on.

So if going on a track is something you've wanted to do, just do it! I would strongly advise at least getting a passenger pass and going out with someone - not only does it give you a feel for what it's about, it's great fun too.
