What specs are you after? engine, drivetrain etc, or options available when new etc.

What did the AA say about it? and are you going to buy?

Nice one, what are you doing in Romania?

3.2 liter 321bhp dohc M sport engine,

approx 250Ib of torque, running through a 6sp box with an LSD, floating vented disc brakes (as per M5) up front, solid discs at the rear, 0-60 in approx 5.4 sec. ltd top speed of 155mph.

What colour is it, do you know?

i work over here i'm afraid lol

thats how i can buy the new car !

A/A said the car has a small weep from the diff but it wasnt serious, i looked at the brakes and i think it needs some pads soon.

the calipers look awful though lol i will need to have them cleaned up and maybe painted or something.

the top speed is limited to 155? i didnt know that? how do i remove the speed limiter just in case?

the car is met silver with a fairly new hardtop

The limiter is set by the ECU, and would need to be re-set by someone who knows what they're doing, When the car is chipped using an aftermarket item, this is normally reprogrammed to remove, or increase the limiter, but saying that, 155mph is seriously fast, and tends to be enough for the short periods of time they do it. Paint the original callipers! not too sure about that one, clean them up would be the best option, or change them for some upgraded callipers such as Brembo or sim (or whatever ones fit) these are coloured and tend to stay that way.

Hey Benny,

Congrats on the new car.  I picked up my '98 M3 Evo SMG at the weekend, and haven't stopped grinning since!!

I managed to secure a set of original (1998) brochures from john@johnsmodelcars.co.uk - they're steep at £15 each including postage, but I'm pretty pedantic about things, and figured it was worth £30 on top of the £21k purchase price to have everything "just so"

Regards,
Steve.

what colour did you buy? mine is silver with a hard top.

I saw some smg ones advertised in top marques which were smg and i hasd to go and find out what that meant lol.

i believe it's a sort of auto tranmission eh?

mine was 21k too lol guess thats a popular price just now.
