All internal combustion engine piston and connecting rod installation method is the same. Detailed installation process need a lot of space, installation steps below summary:
To install the connecting rod (head) with piston pin in the pin hole of piston.
Install the piston ring (gas ring, oil ring) on the piston ring groove.
The connecting rod, piston assembly installed from above the cylinder, the big end inserted down (up) piston in the cylinder (blocked because of piston ring and plug no bottom).
With a special fixture installation of piston ring (made of thin sheet metal tools), to make sure they skim piston ring to adjust the abutment of the piston ring before (banding, adjust good neighboring right ring two opening Angle, general each other between 120 degrees apart) and the cylinder liner inside diameter of the same size, and then gently push (enter to facilitate, temporary put some oil in piston ring lubrication) cylinder liner,
Connecting rod is installed on the connecting rod journal, its two fastening bolts, which one to the left side of the body, to the right side of the body, which is a direction, not wrong, wrong, crank shaft can not rotate for 360 degrees in the body.
Fastening two of connecting rod bolt, meet the requirements of torque.
Cylinder head was installed and adjusted the valve clearance.
Installed oil pump, fine oil sump.
