Yeah, well, it was 29 years ago and I was the apprentice on the job. I'm guessing the system, or parts of it wont be there now.

Ham & family, enjoy but mind, if you venture down the Royal Mile, its expensive.

Back on thread, It'll be nice to get oot for a wee drive..

Been up and down there enough times to know that mate.
That said having just got back from 9 days in Norway, Edinburgh is positively dirt cheap in comparison. Confused

Update - the weather looking non to shabby for sunday...

So I have spoken with the Rowardennan Hotel and they are happy to welcome us on Sunday around 12pm for lunch which will be bar food ...soup & a sandwich, burger etc.
I have booked it for 20 to allow for any who are not on the list. They are bringing in extra staff so please let me know if you are not attending!

The plan would be meet at Stirling Services at 10.30am then take a leisurely drive up to Loch Lomond which will take about an hour.
See you all then!!  Big smile

I will be there as long as I can get the car started.

Defeats the purpose for me to meet you at Stirling so I will just meet you all at the Rowardennan hotel.

What a cracking day for a drive - I had the roof down all day and didn't feel the least bit cold Smile

Nice hotel and food and some great scenery and great craic - here are a few of my photos of the day ...

Sorry for my non attendance.

I was at a 60th and got extremely drunk so much so that it is now that I have stopped throwing up.

I'm signing the pledge. What a state I'm in.

Glad you all had a good day
