There's no problem meeting there, I only mentioned the other place as last year, every car club and their dugs met at Granada and it was absolutely rammed with cars and was difficult to get moving until the last guys in (who blocked the roadways) made their move.

See you all there Smile

Dont know what it was like last year but the year before it was ok and the Granada bit is all closed now so hopefully will be ok as its the easiest place for us to meet the folk who dont know the area.

When I die I want to go peacefully like my grandfather did, in his sleep- -not screaming like the passengers in his car!!

Going by previous years, you may still be waiting at 10am on Sunday which is when the public are allowed in. I suggest we just set a time and place and go from there. I know that there will be people staying over night on the Saturday and also know that staff are on site from approx 8am.

I'd suggest a 8:45 meet somewhere close with a 9am (sharp) departure, small drive to EF and get set up by 10am. I know we used to meet at the old entrance to Burger King at Muselburgh services and thats fine but the carpark does get a bit hectic. What about the wee road opposite the entrance to the karting centre at Macmerry (just 10 seconds off the A1)?.............Just a suggestionBig smile
