Hi Nick / chaps,

I would just like to tell everyone that Nick organises a very good track day at Croft. I've been to 4 of them now......and they are always well drilled and safe. They are awesome value.

So Nick.....I intend to come. I don't know what I will be driving as yet as I have sold both the M3's. I've just got myself a 2001 Boxster S. I think it will be handy on the track....just don't know if I dare take it on yet. Insurance might be an issue.
If I decide not to use it, I will try one of those Ginettas or 944 Turbos the circuit hires out.

Cheers,
John.

Thanks for that Doc, the money is in the post!

So whats a Merc owning Boxster driving, fat cat like yourself doing still lurking on this list.. shouldn't you be smoking cigars down the golf club with your new mates?

Nick

I've only got the one car! That's the Boxster S. Lovely thing. Seems to do everything right, certainly for every-day driving.
The Merc purchase fell through. I'm glad I got the Porsche though.

You guys!!

Uwe.....mate, it is nicer to drive every day than the M3, even if it hasn't got the space. Mind you, the combined space of the 2 boots is pretty large. I took my mum to Marks and Sparks in it and she fitted an entire food shop in the 2 boot compartments.

Jon.....It is hard to decide which side to get in. In fact the other day I found myself trying to climb into the front boot compartment, so confused was I.

I'm sure I'll catch up with you fellas in due course. I'll certainly keep looking in here. I'm going to Croft in the summer.

John, my 2.5 is in the car now and I can't imagine that anything is nicer to drive than that!
Anyway, I am still looking forward to see you at the next track day. And you are allowed to bring your re-designed beetle with you.(whatever it costs or what is written on the bonnet, to me it's still a beetle as long the flat engine is in the back of the car)

Oh Uwe.....I half a mind to put slicks on it and give you a race!! I hope to come to a track day that you guys are attending. Donington is fairly convenient for me.
