	I have recently found out there are two more organisations that do the advanced test, so will alter the question..... Do we have any advanced licence holders on the forum, regardless of who you took the exam with ?

	I did an advanced driver and risk assesment course with BSM and Privelidge insurance which resulted in a 10% discount on insurance, but not the real deal. Would like to do another advanced course some time soon.

	You guys in the UK are lucky. Although I plan on doing such a course in the future, there would be no benefit in my insurance as the insurance cartel here don't really acknowledge the courses (with the exception of one company who only acknowledge the course for drivers under 21 IIRC and who stick with them for something like 3 years).

	Killian Its only just really started to take effect over here, and you have to be careful that the ones who offer a discount dont have higher premiums to start with, both I and other people are looking at some now. Although Ireland does seem a "special" place for insurance, I've seen some of the postings on here, especially from people who have moved from the mainland to Ireland for work, as it seems to be put, and taken thier cars with them, why is it so high there ? I cant imagine your car crime being much worse than over here, and on my trips over, two or three a year for work, I cant say the driving standard is any lower than here, although the roads themselves arent as good, as is always apparent when you cross the border to the north. It would give you a giggle though to know how much your distance signs can throw me, although in europe I am used to everything being metric the half and half system you have can lead to me arriving a ports etc early !!! (speed in mph, distances in KM, but on some signs also in miles) Bit of a waffle, but on a recent trip to the states where I was driving between Nashville and Lawrenceburgh I noticed they favour the Irish "Yield" signs, as opposed to the British " Give Way". Sohlman How "soon" would you be interested in doing the "real deal" as you put it ?

	Now, tomorow, next week, next month. I am always intrested in improving my driving standards as lets face it driving is the most dangerous thing any of us probable do, therefore it is important. I regularily go out with my father where we look at each other driving and constructively critisise so that we keep sharp. What do you have in Mind?

	Sohlman phew ! the secret squirrel stuff is over lol If you look at Johns posting (B 7 VP) in the better driving days forum you will see why I was asking the question and what the club is now offering on this advanced stuff.
