My mate spotted a car outside the office and said I recognise that Car.

Turns out it was a car both of us were looking at on pistonheads

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2593839.htm

Had a little shimmy round it and it is actually in excellent condition if anyone is looking for an E30

Lovely motor but IMO that's far too much money for something like that, showcar or not!

Looks a cracking car. A bit on the pricey side though, butI think someone will buy it.

I think the next big classic will be the E30 325i sport.

You are already seeing strong money for well cared for ones

that iS has been for sale for a couple of mths at that
price.. it's never going to be worth £6K+

ive got receipts that tally up to over £6K for my E30iS
on it's full restoration in 2009/10, not to mention one
of thee fullest history's i have ever seen for any car &
i'd be very lucky to see £3K for it if i were to sell it.

my car has a few "up to date" touches but nothing that
can't be swapped back to standard in about an hour.

the white one seams to have roof aerial fitted which
would make me think either there is a grommet or a
patched up hole on the rear quarter panel, so to return
it back to the original aerial then the roof will need repaired.   can't deny it look's in good order but that
price will never be made

Seems to be a daily driver too.

Ill have a look and see if there is a visible mark where the aerial is / was.
