Hey mate,

You get the same scorpion system for the E46 that most folk run on the E36 328Sports as i do!

They sound amazing and are not to loud!
Mines is louder than most the due to bigger diameter M3 exhaust manifold conversion and straght through center section but even then aint that loud

Have a look on ebay as there is often a few forsale on there.

Here a video of steve (Hairy Haggis) 328 M52B28 with Scorpion system with cat!

Myself and steve are just over the bridge in fife.

I've got a decat and Alpina back box on a 328 E36. I'm in Perth, let me know if you want to meet up for a chat/listen. I and others are happy with the sound, not 'ned' at all.

No bother mate, Steves system is cat back with original
cat!

Mines with original set up full scorpion decat is more
beefy and deeper tone but you can tell its the sound of a
big 6 not a chaved up booming exhaust to make it sound
like it has power you can tell from the rumble it has
power! But me having a M3 manifold conversion make a
diffrence also being bigger diameter

For MOT purpose Cat back is what you idealy want if you
dont want to muck around mate.

My new full M3 bore custom race system that is going on
will have to be changed for MOT which is a pain but i
dont mind!

On the scorpion system, I do feel it is a bit loud inside the car. Pop along to the meeting on 6th and you can probably see and hear a range of different exhausts.

Myself and Roddy will be there too

Indeed, We shall be there my good fellow!

Just to point out, Steve reckons his is pritty loud but
that is mainly due to the fact he has M50 inlet
conversion, Big bore throttle bodie and Dave F Style
induction kit which all adds to the exhaust noise!

So yours will be quiter than Steve's if you went for a
Scorpion system.
