I cant help with your question but i may be interested in buying your original M-parallel alloys, how much would you want for them ?

Hi everyone

I'm new to this board and need advice.

I wish to upgrade the 17x8 M parallel type 66 wheels on my 2001 530d Sport Touring to 18", possibly the M parallel type 37, using 8J-235/40/18 on the front and 9J-265/35/18 at the back.

However I have seen amongst some literature from BMW which suggests 18" wheels are not compatible with the Touring. Is this due to suspension design differences.

I would also like to know if it is possible to fit the 9Jx18 width at the back or whether I need to stay with 235's all round.

Has anyone been down this route who could answer my question?
