Formerly known as Alford "Motorvation", this used to be a regular event for the north-east region, has there been any contact from the organisers offering a club stand this year?

Its only for super cars this year Stephen, and is limited to 100 cars or something

Chas has arranged something with some Alpinas or something there,so will be worth going along to see,but we wont be attending as a club day as they dont want us,last year was garbage anyway

The Alford Speedfest on 16th May is a completely new event and it will be heavily biased towards live action on the track all day rather than static displays.  Around 100 sports, GT, and exotica will be on show and roughly half of them will take to the track at some point during the day for various events including parades, supercar pursuits and autotests.

Space at Alford is limited so there is no scope for club stands, unfortunately.  However this should be an event well worth attending for any petrolhead.

Motorvation will still take place in July but will be less high-octane.

I think it's about £8 for an adult.  We'll have a couple of spare seats in exhibitors cars which won't cost you anything (but don't tell anyone!).  You'd have to be at alford between 9 and 10am to take advantage of that.  Drop me a PM if you're interested.

Hi Chas, unfortunately it would be a bit too early of a start for us, Sunday is "daddy day" and we have to drop off Saira (fiances daughter) at her dads in Buckie on the way through to Alford, but thanks for the offer, much appreciated, we'll catch up with you later in the day

It's going to be hard work putting the brake dust on to the V8 to the same standard as the BiTurbo...

The forecast is looking good for Alford tomorrow so this should be a great day out.  We need to make this a big success to ensure it becomes an annual event so please come along and bring your friends.

There has never been a gathering of so many exotic motors in this part of the world, and the chance to see some of them on the track should not be missed.

Ahh, was that you?  I was at the front of the convoy and I thought I spotted an M3 tailing us.  I got the boys to pass me so I could have a bit of fun with you but you weren't biting.
