i have noticed that occasionally when i arrive at work and get my stuff out of the boot, there is swirls of water on the battery cover..not very much but i need to find it. cant see anything obvious , i have felt under the window, boot hinge etc...any ideas?
88 E30 M3 fast(er than it was, ta Shep and Grant)

and a k8 2008 busa...faster still

(focus RS gone to good home - but never forgotton, eh Shep)

boot lock catch loose (doesn't close the lid tight enough)

rear light rubber seal

the two most common causes
E61 520d, slow and buzzy but my wallet likes the mpg.....

Yep 2nd the light seals

Changed the rear lamps on mine and developed puddles in both rear wells , turned out to be the lamp seals.

Replacement seals are available seperately part no 63211370679

and the answer is......yes i think so!  i changed the gasket for a new one, emptied the fish from under the battery and it seems ok now!..
