I'm flicking through the channels and get onto Motors TV (Virgin 545) and the current programme is "Scottish Ford Challenge" and the race is XR2s
Suddenly, I hear the name Hamish Smart - wait a minute I know Hamish I'm not sure of the date of the race (it was a sunny day), but Hamish won the race, his 2nd win I think these programmes get repeated, so maybe worth keeping an eye out |

Yip the XR2 series has been getting all of it's races broadcast on Motors, Hamish only told me last week or I'd have watched them. Forget it was on tonight too!!lol.

26th September - bittersweet day. Won race 1 and then buzzed the engine in race 2. Last meeting is being shown 15/12 if I remember rightly, but I wouldn't watch that one - I found coolant. Regrettably it wasn't mine and it was on the tarmac. Wasn't pretty. H. |
