Ok so i've decided what i want, now I just need to find the right car.

Im after an E36 328SE saloon with a manual box and aircon. I'd prefer a facelift car and not in boston green if possible. Any other spec is a bonus but the car must be an SE.

I'd prefer a low milage car or a higher milage one that has  evidence of an engine swap. No mega milage cars though.

The car must have a full service history, be in very good condition and not have been heavily modified.

PM me with details of your car.

Is that not what you had before the 530i?

Good luck with the hunt.

Yes, well I had an accord Type-R in between but that was only a 6 month thing.

I was seriously considering another e39 and if I happen to see the 'right' car in the meantime i'm not saying I won't buy it, but another E36 is what I am actively looking for.

I know them pretty well after my first ownship experience and TBH they take a lot of beating considering all things such as performance, price and running costs.

Thanks for that Gav. No mention of aircon/climate though which is a must. Not enough space to explain why but I simply can't get a car without it.

I've emailed the seller though to ask him if it has it or not. It does look like a nice car with a very nice exterior/interior colour combination.

These late Sport pack cars are nice.  Quite a few late 323i Tourings had it added as an option too.  I suspect that BMW were making it an attractively priced option to keep sales going prior to the arrival of the e46.

Emailed the guy and the car has climate.

I just need to decide whether I can make do with a 323. Really wanted a 328 but there are very few decent 4dr around.

Peter, Mrs D has the 323i and its lively enough.  Mightn't have quite the grunt of the 328i for overtaking, etc. but its no slouch.  Even alongside my old 330 it wasn't by any means inadequate.

Car has rust on the back arches. A nice car but for 2.5k it needs to be rust free, IMHO.
