Hi Mike,

No problem at all.

They're not really in the way so take your time.

Glad to be of help.

Thanks 1989 520i for the pictures. It took me ages to get them downloaded but I finally managed!

I would love to take these seats, they look far better than mine and will hopefully stop the backache.

I just have to sort out the logistics as you are in Galway and I am in Arklow and work in Dublin.

Is it OK if I contact you after the Easter break to try to arrange something?

Hi Mike,

My apologies for the delay.

Will you pm me your e-mail as they're taking forever to load on photobucket.

Mark.

Hi Mike,

They're in great condition. No rips, tears, stains or fag burns.

They only came out because I bought a leather interior from another board member recently.

They're just sitting in the spare room at the minute.

I'll post pics in the morning (at work at the minute) and you can decide.

Mark.

Wow, I can't argue wth that! I would love to see some pictures - what are they from and what condition are they in?

I really appreciate your offer and look forward to seeing some pictures!

Thank you, Mike

I'll give you a full set if you like.

I swapped mine a couple of weeks back.

They're cloth (grey with black vinyl sides and rear).

I'll post pics tomorrow and you can see if they suit.

As regards price........ I'll give ya them for free if you take the lot.

I'd try breakers or a good start would be Frankie Wyse in Clogheen (near Chair) in Tipp. He breaks BMWs and might have a set....his no is 052 65239.

Hi all,

The drivers seat in my 1995 525tds (E34) is rather worn and giving me backache.

Ideally I would like to just get hold of a decent matching drivers seat to restore comfort but I assume getting a matching one will be difficult so I would consider the whole set (fronts and rears).

Don't mind the material (cloth/leather) but must be in good condition otherwise no point in changing them!

Only other sticking point is price! I only paid a small amount for the car (and that included 6 months tax in Ireland which is worth as much as the car!) and am on a small budget as I also need to get the front bushes replaced soon.

I really hope someone can help!

Mike
