Does anyone here have a set of 17" M-Sport Alloys for sale? with decent tyre tread if possible.  pm me with pics please if you have.

Also willing to swap my own 18" M-Sport alloys, all wheels and tyres in excellent condition (Pic below).

I think it looks great with the wheels you have!

I have a set of Style 45 16"s that I am not using; very comfortable... And they have a very good set of Michelin tyres. And they're located in County Tipp!!

Hi larzyh,

yea I love the alloys on it but I've had to replace both front wishbones, bushings and a steering mount since I've bought the car.  my mechanic says they're not built for 18's and that 17's would make a huge difference in overall comfort with less stress on the car in general.

pm me pics of your 16's, will consider but prob too small a rim.  Thanks.

You mechanic is right about the stresses but the wishbones, bushes, etc. are pretty much consumables on any BMW.  As the mileage mounts you'll tend to find that there is something that needs replacing at most normal services.  Its the price for the way they drive.
Now: BMW 523i SE '00, 318i SE - e91 '07, 325i Coupe '93.

e36 325i Coupe *2, 323i SE, 316iSE.
e30 325iSE 2dr, 320i Conv, 320i 2dr, 316i.

The mechanic is not right about the e46 not being built for 18"!

The largest size fitted to e36 from factory were 17" for e30 it was 16". My e21 had 13"s. These cars were not made for 18"s.

The largest size fitted to e46 were 19"'s as an option for the M3. 18"s were an option on your Coupe; of course they were "built for 18's"!

I will see if I can find a picture of my 45's on my car...
