I am being offered the chance to arrange a factory tour by ZF GB.

They re-manufacture the autoboxes, steering boxes etc fitted to our cars.

I find this stuff very interesting, they are based in Nottingham, anyone interested ?

Best Wishes

Nigel

Nigel, why don't you put it forward as a future BMW Car Club event?

Its just an offer K, nothing is arranged (in your case either Birmingham int, or East Midlands airports are on route for me, East Midlands is the closest to the factory, and probably cheapest for you)

Should a bunch of Irish based lads come over, I can seat four, we'll have to see who wants to go, and if they would collect people on route, should more than four of you come.

As for the BMWCC, I need pitsys up yours smiley

Best Wishes

Nigel

You have got my attention. (Ex automotive gear designer so I am interested in anything with teeth that has no saliva.) It's a long way, so just a tentative maybe.

Nigel, can you organise dates so I can organise a flight without needing vaseline?

I meant that I'd rather have a bit of time between booking the flight and taking it as otherwise there could be quite a difference in price!
