Once again we were blessed with a nice sunny day for our meet.
Today's meet was a joint meet, with our friends from the North East (England) Region, at the Boat Inn Restaurant, Leaplish Waterside Park, near Kielder. (Thanks to Pete for organizing the Restaurant)

Following the meal, we headed off to some obscure place suggested by Gary for group photos.

A good turnout from both Regions - see some photos below ...

Duncan thanks Gary for his photoshoot location suggestion

Thanks to Pete for sorting the nosh and Issy/Cambell and the gang for sorting the meeting point. Weather was ace. I enjoyed my wee detour home... some corking roads on the way to the m/way.

No thanks to Gary for having nothing even remotely resembling a sense of direction or any sympathy for my poor abused splitter. I now have Kielder Bonsai Edition™ growing at the front of my car.

Was great to make it out to another meeting and catch up with you guys, particularly on such a lovely day!

The roads around Kielder were phenomenal, so much so the trip back was done at a fair few mpg less than the trip down

Great fun!

Here's a couple of pics for the collection:

Great meeting yesterday and great pics guys, I have some to post up too.

Unfortunately, as some of you noticed in the forrest, my stomach wasn't the best and really didn't feel well when I got home. I'm sure it is completely unrelated.

I really enjoyed meeting the guys'n'gals from the North East, should really do that more often and make that an overnighter for everyone ???

Yes that is the roof of my car !!

More pics to follow soon.

glad you all enjoyed yourselves it looked like a good meet.
Gary, you've not been leaking the location of your dogging sites again.
I had to contend with a morning at work then a gentle run up loch lomond to tyndrum for my obligatory plate of soup. very enjoyable but it was missing some other Beemers.

Haggis, you may regret saying that as the next meet is in Aberdeen

hehe ... I think they still allow some lowly 318's up there ....

I have booked the 2nd November into the calendar, so nothings on. My mate and his 325 will probably tag along too .. not a member as  yet but will be soon enough.

I think I've missed the last 3 meets since my first one at Flotterston !!

Its was a laugh, though as with the rest of the day the sun was in my eyes most of the time.

Also thanks for the Model Zed, it is on display in the living room
