Just like to say what a great day I had on monday ( and a good sunday night) at Croft for the Trackday organised by Nick Wright. Many thanks to Nick and his son and all the staff at Croft for a superb event. Clap  I was incredibly impressed with Nicks ability to drive my car round the circuit at a rate of knots I didn’t think was possible Shocked ( far faster than I could ever get it round). A superb demonstration of driving skill  (and so smooth).

Thanks to Mr Barford for his tips and advice, nice one Ian, top man  Thumbs Up(excepting of course the snoring in the tent ). Your little twinky flew around the track, twas superb. You certainly can pedal that little beauty Wacko. If your reading Wendy hope you got home OK and the car didn't play up again.

Only took a few quick pics but here's a couple to go on with.

If anyone got any pics of my car ( Avus Blue E36 318is saloon ) I'd appreciate copies if I may be so bold.
Cheers to all,  Steve.

Yep, thanks for a great day Nick

I'm looking forward to the next one

Also, as per Steven's comment, any pics of the blue mr2 would be greatly appreciated...(although i know no one was probably intereseted in taking pics of that though considering some of the nice machinery that was present)

Just a little footnote to this post,

There were some fantastic and extremely fast cars on the track including a new M3, Porsche ( 993 I think, sorry if I'm wrong Jim ) a CSL and loads of others but despite most of them being 18/20 years old or more, the kings of the track were the E30 M3's. No wonder they have such an incredible reputation, they are awesome and so nice to see so many in such wonderful condition doing what they were made for and blasting round a track. They made me feel like I was stationary ( apologies if I held any of you guys up but you look in the mirror and see nothing and then all of a sudden it full of E30 M3).  Top day and top cars. It don't get much better.

Thanks for a great day Nick even though you awarded me the "Most improved driver of the day" Which I feel was very tongue in cheek

I did do the best spin though

I need to get the IS out this year sometime and give it a blast.

See if Nick can get October sorted.
