Plod have found the car.  I got my stuff out of it yesterday morning.

Page 10 on this post

Technically it is the insurance companies car.  They are in possession of the log book etc.  They paid out to me, like they bought the car from me.

I have no say over the car now cos it ain't mine.  My new one is a bit better, more toys, lower milage etc.

Not sure I would want to own the last one again as I know what happened to it.

It was loved, at least someone else knows that.  My wife just doesn't understand.........

Hear hear, well said that man!!

Glad you got back on the road Andrew and the spec you wanted. Would the insurance company know which trackers are best or perhaps the vehicle crime squad? if anyone would know, they would though I'm not sure how you'd contact them.

Just the £800 now and you can begin to forget the ordeal!

Nice

Mike

S'not over yet. Still out of pocket to the tune of £800 odd quid.  Will be speaking to Mr Dealer Principal about this.

@K

Looking into trackers.  BMW do not rate Trackers made by Tracker anymore they use Trackster or Trackstar trackerns now.

I'm sure I'll be at the meet on Sunday, have been off work (and hence t'interweb access) since Monday afternoon.  I'll hopefully be fit for Sunday.

Yip

It is my two fingered salute to Gordon Brown and the tree huggin' brigade!

It cost less than a new Mondeo and I didn't add to the CO2 that is produced in building a new car in the first place.
