Good luck with this Pete
For those of you who don't know all the details, Pete is trialling something which some of the larger regions down south have used before - Branches. It's intended to recognise that it can be pretty hard to select a meet venue which is central for everyone.
So, initially we're trying out this meet on the 2nd Sunday in April. This means that :
Northern troops can still come to the Region's monthly meet
Anyone can go to the Northern meet but we're especially keen to see loads of the new faces who've been popping up recently
Hopefully numbers will be high enough that these can become a regular feature. Hopefully every 2nd Sunday of the Month from April until whenever Pete and the gang decide that the weather is getting too ropey to continue...
So give Pete your support for taking this step and fingers crossed loads can make it out

By my reckoning there are i.r.o. 40 of you up there within striking distance of this. Please give Pete your support and please respond early to allow us to get an idea of numbers.

Can't promise Pete but I'll do my best. As you know, Mrs Chas is due to drop baby #2 any time now so I may have my hands full next weekend. The flip side is that I may be looking to do something with #1 to leave mum and new baby in peace..?
