Ian,

Give Steve a ring at ASWR

Tell him I said to ring. He has just broken an E34  540 recently. I'm sure he will have one. He does mail order so can post it to you. Prices are very reasonable too.

HTH  Steve.

Sorry, am I missing something here? If the part is still available from the dealer, why didn't you just go there in the first place?

Cats know your every thought.

But don't care.

I think Ian imagined it would be a lot more expensive and difficult to get.

Glad you got sorted Ian, seems a reasonable price. Yes I bought the registration just need the M5 now to put it on.

Fair enough, but I always ask at a dealer first - just to see if it is still available, and how much, and then shop around if necessary.

IMHO the dealers aren't always stealers - especially if you get a discount, and I'm always amazed at the parts I can still get from them for my 21yr old motor - so 1993 is almost new

IM a skinflint you know what they say about aberdoniens they dont like spending there money. well that is very true im tighter then a ducks water tight bottom.

The parts man in the main dealer in aberdeen very helpfull guy even tho i went in my full work gear and yellow jacket. Will go back againg to get genuine parts.

We will get you in to a 5 series yet steve just think more room relaxed driving position and big back seat.

Ian
