For those of you who have ever considered attending a Midland Meander and never quite got round to it, Phil and Marise would like to offer you one last chance.
December 2nd 2003 will be the 50th and last ever Midland Midweek Meander.

Phil

Why the last one ever?

Because no-one turns up??

December 2nd = Tuesday.

See your Central Region "Where are U all?????" topic for my comment on that!

Simon.

We have a group of regulars, mainly Z3s that turn up. They are not car club members but part of the Z message board. We average 5 cars/10 people per event. The max. was 10 cars and 22 people - too many to keep tabs on. The min. was 2 cars/3 people. This week we had 3 Z3s, a Porsche Turbo and a 328. Everyone had a good time.

The response from Club members is virtually non existant - although another regular comes in a M635CSi and is a club member.

A 30 mile drive and a pub meal - starting Leamington Spa.

We've run 50 over the last 51 months.

The 50th and final one is December - all good things come to an end.

Car club support has generally been cr*p.

The regulars are from the Z message board.

Everyone is very welcome to attend.

Its Dec 2nd from Damon Hill.

I'm stilling sorting the meal venue but indications are that for a party booking close to Xmas I have to pay a deposit and pre book the food.

This happened last year and I had to e-mail the menu to everyone to choose. I'll keep you posted via the forum.
