This league is coming along nicely.

There was no way the FIA would allow the stewards to penalise the FIA (Ferrari Immunity Always)

^^^^^^^^PaulG1991, top of page 13.

I don't think so as his team was entered late in the league as a whole not just the BB mini league.

phew, good old SPA....

Lewis Hamilton moved closer to his world championship dream with a dramatic victory at Spa following an extraordinary finish to the Belgian Grand Prix. The McLaren driver was closing up on long-time race leader Kimi Raikkonen in the closing laps of the race when a rain shower caused havoc with two laps remaining. With Hamilton looking far more comfortable in the increasingly slippery conditions, he passed his Ferrari rival at La Source on the penultimate lap but lost the lead just a few corners later when he slid off the road. However Raikkonen almost immediately spun again and then got totally out of shape in the run down to the final chicane – crashing into the wall leaving his championship defence in ruins.

Hamilton tiptoed around the final lap to seal an amazing victory to increase his championship advantage to eight points, with Ferrari's Felipe Massa doing the same to come through in second place after a race in which he failed to match his chief rivals.Behind their was further chaos,

with Nick Heidfeld moving up from ninth to the final podium position in third after gambling on switching to intermediate tyres.Fernando Alonso did likewise and came home fourth – where he had spent most of the race – demoting Toro Rosso’s Sebastian Vettel to fifth on the final corner.

The second BMW of Robert Kubica was sixth, ahead of the other STR of Sebastien Bourdais and Toyota's Timo Glock.

update "Stewards in Belgium have handed Toyota’s Timo Glock a 25-second time penalty for overtaking under yellow flags during Sunday’s race. The ruling means Glock, who had finished in eighth, has been reclassified in ninth.
Glock is understood to have passed Red Bull’s Mark Webber during the final moments of the Belgian Grand Prix, even though yellow flags were being waved following Kimi Raikkonen’s accident in the Ferrari.
As a result of the penalty Webber is promoted to eighth and scores one point for Red Bull"

the results are still provisional though, pending outcome of..."Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen have been put under investigation by Belgian Grand Prix stewards following their wheel-to-wheel battle in the chaotic closing laps at Spa"

if only he drove a Ferrari!

"Lewis Hamilton has had his Belgian Grand Prix victory overturned by the stewards, handing the win to title rival Felipe Massa, who finished second on the road.

Hamilton was given a 25-second penalty for cutting the Bus Stop chicane during his wheel-to-wheel battle for the lead with Kimi Raikkonen during the closing laps.

With 25 seconds added to his race time, Hamilton has dropped to third in the classification behind BMW Sauber’s Nick Heidfeld.

The decision brings about a four-point swing in Massa's favour in the championship standings, reducing Hamilton's lead from eight to four points."
