A bold claim that Pete... for my money a nice car for sure... but not the best E36. Did Alek get the proper wheels with it? Didn't get a chance to talk to him today.

Ok maybe my topic wording was not best worded as yes offcourse there is better e36 around, but

This has got to be one of the cleanest e36 i have seen around for many years

I dont think he has alloys, but imho i think he should get a set of mint ones and keep car total original

they did a good job, any idea how much it cost?

i thought they might have touched in that deep scratch on the bootlid before covering it up with a badge

yes nice and clean but, not the cleanest I've seen, they missed a bit, the drivers door inner trim has fluff and white bits still on it.

a damp cloth and some rubbing will sort that out tho.

The gouge in the paint wasnt through to the metal so touching up wasnt necessary - the owner needs to provide the touch up paint and he wasnt aware of the mark untill i de-badged it :)

As for the fluff on the outter trim- this was a bloody pest and one thing i ran out of time on but i figured i'd make sure i concentrated on the more important details. I'm sure Alek will forgive me untill i do the car again on its next visit

exactly, you get what you pay for. To be honest - people that scoff at the price arent the people that are going to fully appreciate the work that goes into it (no offence intended)

So using your analogy he didn't pay enough?

How much would he have had to pay to get it perfect then?
