    Posted: 02-November-2007 at 21:28

Hello All

I know this topic might have been broached before, but I can't find it, sorry.
I have a 2002 5 series BMW with angel eyes.  What is the replacement bulb for the angel eyes NOT the main/dipped beam? The H6 bulbs look very similar, but they are not right.  In mine the pins are not staggered and the wattage  is 10.  The coding from the original bulb 12082 by philips 12V 10Watt. The W5W / 501 will not fit because they are capless. Any ideas??
Regards

Thanks

Can I buy the bulb seperately? I was able to take the bulb out of the holder.

Regards

Separately as in without the plastic elbow?
Did your bulb just come out? I managed to break the plastic weld on my bulb fitting which now allows me to use bulbs from a motor factors. Dealer prices for the full elbow jobbie is €25-30. Bulb from motor factors is only a few quid!

Yes I was able to get the bulb out of the plastic elbow/reflector, but the bulb seems to be like a H6 (Halogen)as decribed earlier.  Did you fit the standard 10 watt "peanut" type bulb?
