Only problem I have here Rossi is I sure as hell aint joining the BMWCC to be able to post on THIS forum, quite a few mods aren't any longer members of the BMWCC, and we need to be able to post in any forum to carry out our duties.

AND......following the grief with the clubs blobby set, I'd object to any area of this forum being restricted to BMWCC members.

As for England I'd imagine one social forum would be enough, although it could always be altered later if it needed it.

Best Wishes

Nigel

Nigel....you've got the wrong end of the stick..lol

Many BMWCC members use this forum in preference to the official one. All I am sugesting is that it remains the same and BMWCC relayed info be bold headered with colour coded thread titles.

You don't have to join the BMWCC to post...ROTFL

So, only official BMWCC info would be colour coded, and all other 'regional' non-offical information wouldn't?

So, and please correct me if I'm wrong here, we do away with the English BMWCC Regional forums, and lump them all into one, and then colour code the official BMWCC missives, whilst leaving all other general regional un-official type messages in normal type?

Why don't we leave the Regional Forums as they are - to be used only for Offical BMWCC messages - and create another English forum for everything else?

That way we have an Irish, Scottish & English Forum for general Bavarian-Board business, and the old regional forums for when BMWCC members want to up-date us?

If the Regional Forums don't get used that's then down to BMWCC/Bav-Board members, not Bav-Board only members.

Sounds far simpler to me

You're getting warmer now Pittsy.

We could get rid of all the regional forums as I doubt they are of any use to most of the board and replace them with just one for Car Club business.

I would prefer to not do away with them entirely as its still helpful to have it localised as otherwise everything gets swallowed up.

For clarification, I took Rossi's colour coding suggestion to mean that if a BMWCC 'official' posted (e.g. me, Shorty, Nero, etc.) then that post could be colour coded to highlight that it was 'official'.

Was that the intention?

So, do my suggestion then, leave the English Regional Forums for any Official BMWCC events their members may wish to post here, and add a new English Forum for any other info.

Oh hang on, doesn't that exist already in the "General Forum" area as  "BMW Related Events - Discuss forthcoming BMW related events & activities here."?

Ok rename that one to "Discuss forthcoming non-BMWCC related events..."

How's that? A compromise..
