OK, I won't say eBay; buying my own genuine MV 72's has been my only slightly dodgy experience so far - lots of happy ones.

Tyre centers often have wheels they're selling for people upgrading and since you're looking for the original 17's it's quite possible that somebody has put different wheels on their M3.

When I went to buy tyres for my new wheels they had a brand new set of 18's including runflats straight off a 3Series; guy who bought a new 3 didn't like the wheels, asking 1000 euros for the lot; I didn't like the style of them anyway.

Good luck.

Larzyh.

Am looking for a set of E34 M5 contours and came across these guys. Seem to have lot of M3's for parts: http://www.m3spares.com/ No experience of them but no shortage of wheels and other parts. HTH,
