I'm sure the T-5 is fun but not following an M5 - the signature says it all (insert whatever emoticon that indicates that I mean my last remark in the friendliest way possible).

I'm well impressed by everyones support of the NSX! Such a pity more people didn't see beyond the Honda badge day 1... but there's alot of serious metal for the stg£60k it cost new. And if in Kins position, given the money...... .... I'd be torn! 996 is such a sweet motor too. I expected at least one TVR to calve on the BMI video! NSX-R destroyed them.... what a motor Edited by T.J. |

My money would be on the Porsche. I wish I had the problem of having to choose!

That is a pretty bad video to convince me of TVRs, shows how diffcult it is to heel and toe and how a NSX-R would distroy them.

How about a TVR? Check out this vid. 3 TVR's against an NSX-R.

you are down to two from your wishlist.
NSX or Porker? I can only echo what has been said here about the Honda.. it truly is one of the great cars. One that you can use properly, not just as a toy.. but it can really cut the mustard when you want it to.. but lets be realistic here.. the Porker has more going for it in the real world as there are many more to choose from.. whoever it was that said "focus your choice on one particular car but don't buy the first one you see" was obviously not shopping for an NSX. If you are a 'detailer' you wont want the Jap.. they are just too shabby.. a porker will look like a new one every time you give it a wash. Tough choice, but I'm afraid if it were my money I'd get the Porsche. |

FWD is a no no... It is now down to a Porsche 911 or BMW E46 M3 SMG, Porsche with no modding(yeah right) or BMW and I get to mod it. Edited by Kin Mak |

A MkII Clio V6 would also figure heavily in here I think. Or a TVR? Or a Noble? Edited by T.J. |

From what I figure your criteria seems to be, personally from your list the NSX would be my first choice but another to consider would be a Z3/4 M Coupe. Always comes out fairly well on track tests and is a nice weekend car with room for the 5.10 model. Plus you can still go to BMW meets

Hi Kin, i would be asking myself am i going to be just doing mondello? if so something like a lotus or an E46 would be best bet mind you the lotus is not forgiving! if your doing more high speed tracks consider the nsx, but i think its prob too big for mondello |

I'd have the Lotus exige, or a Westfield Megabusa or Ariel Atom for the track only. All are relatively expensive if all you are using them for is a couple of track days a year. A cheaper alternative would be a stripped out rice rocket like a Nissan 200sx (great sideways fun).
