m3 front wheel bearings £145.   5 series front wheel bearings £48. could anyone tell me is there any difference.apart from £££97.

If you mean E28 5 series then yes they can be used, but you will need to swap over the ABS ring from you M3.

hi sporty

is changing the ABS ring a easy job  ie knocking off the ring or pressing it off ?

It'll be easier to get it  back on with a press.

Don't think you can use a hammer to knock it off, due to shape of the bearing, but a puller will remove it.

BTW think you can use E34 bearings also.
