It was Autosmart KRIL. Dunno if you can still get it, I got a gallon from my sis who had a taxi business up till about 5 years ago. It does bring it up lovely tho !!

Tomski, I cleaned the engine using Gunk in a spray bottle and worked it into all of the bits using the brush supplied with my wonder wheels (which I don't use) and the shiny bit came from Autosmart KRIL



Thanks.If wheather will be fine i would do the same next week.I very bored because i had accident at work and my left hand is in plaster = 3 weeks off work.So if i can manage using one hand i'll do that.

Campbell , that is a very very shiney engine bay.... Muppet like shiney things... Watch the blood presure though mine went up after my stroke which gave the doctors another worry , but if you find cleaning engine bays theraputic i'll come over to your place to clean the Zed . I am off on the sick just now
