Not the most exciting subject, but got my shiny new vredestein sportrac 3s fitted today  They're designed to be good in the wet (haven't tested that yet, we're actually getting good weather for once)

I put a full set (std size 205/60/15) on the 325i about 2 months ago and can't fault them.  Grip, noise and comfort all seem to be top notch in both wet and dry conditions (massive improvement over the Avon's that had been on the car from before I bought). Too early to say yet what the wear rate will be like.

95euro a corner delivered and fitted from Eiretyres and Gleeson Tyres in Newport Co. Tipp.

I fitted a full set of Vred's a couple of years ago, the sportrac 1s. They are great in the wet and have proved to be far longer lasting than I expected. Can be a bit squealy if you really push it on  cornering ( but really pushing on) but still very grippy. Done over 20K and still loads of tread. Will definitely buy them again.

Hi Diarmuid, Hope they prove to be as good purchase for you as they have been for me.

Verdestein hi-trac was the tyre of choice when I had the 2002 as a daily driver, great in the wet, with good wear and grip. (used to get them at cost 35 quid a pop back in 98, wish I could now !!)

Can't go far wrong with vredestein

@flyingalex: They feel good so far. The car is definitely gripping much more :) €84.50 each from eiretyres. Not too bad.

Mrs D has some hi-trac's on the back of her old e36 and they did the business there too, no problems.
