Sold now people!  Gone to a company in Lancs for testing new components in development stages such as Spark plugs on various different types of vehicles and engines. Sounds interesting

Our new dyno is the state of the art Dastek 4WD Rolling Road. We made this choice after extensive research into virtually every other dyno available today.

Thanks to ThePits Simon and the "Board" for allowing me to advertise the dyno on this site.

Pictures:

Simon didn't like the Smart, but I thought it was a Smart pic  so I deleated that pic and added the above instead. Sorry to those who are sick of seeing one of my cars

The dyno is extremely simple to use. You can hold the same speed no matter what your throttle position is. Grip isn't a problem and a BMW 540i V8 can be held at 170kws in 3rd gear and, even with the throttle still applied fully, can be slowed down to a virtual stop by the dyno without wheelspin. This is without strapping and just chocks are used. Something like a caterham would need straps. I have mapped my own cars on this dyno and the wheel figures were almost identical to the latest Sun and Dastek dyno's.

Bosch LPS097 Chassis Dyno 2 wheel drive. This is a superb dyno for setting up and tuning cars, vans and trucks.

This dyno has a Telma retarder which is one of the very best available in the dyno industry.

The dyno has been utterly 100% reliable and has proved to be extremely accurate in comparison to new machines. Rated by Bosch at 150kws at the wheels when new, the same dyno was later remarketed a few years later using the same internals and was rated at 300kws. I have mapped cars with well over 200kws at the wheels with no problems.

The dyno displays can be switched from kws to torque.

There is no printer or software included to do power runs and flywheel figures, but I understand this is available as an upgrade package for this specific machine.

The dyno is very sensitive and repeatable. The control panel is very easy to use and incorperates the cooling fan switch.

There is a pneumatic bridge which raises and lowers the car into/out of the rollers.

Front wheel drive torque steer guides, chocks and cooling fan are all included. Diagnosis equipment is not included.

Reason for sale, we are in the process of upgrading to a four wheel drive set up. I am selling this for my place of work so price is subject to VAT. £6495+VAT.

Please PM me for pictures and details.
