stunning wheels and great and stunning example of a compact

what width are the front wheels i have just put the 320 sport alloys onto my compact and there is (.....) this much room from the tyre and the base plate "as in the plate the springs sit onto" on the front standerd struts

i have seen compacts going about with the mv2s and they are 225/45/18 on the front and i know if i was to try and put them onto my compact they just wont fit as there isnt anywhere near a inch room so i dont know if the front struts are the right ones or not

They look sweet on.... I was toying with the idea of getting the 19inch csl reps in from the states but need to build up a fair bit of brownie points before I get away with it.

They are 225/40/18, I've been driving around over a week with them on and have had no problems, I had them fitted to a coupe and on fill lock they would rub against the wheel arch lining but the compact does not seem to have this problem.

Dylbert,

I think he's after the offset of your fronts as his are rather close to his suspension struts

Cheers Dylbert I have a feeling that bobs are probably nearer the et45-50 which will put his wheels too close to the suspension strut

I'm not a compact fan, it is however, still a BMW :-) and those wheels really set it off... :-)
