Ignore all the pictures - and this advert for a "Running car" as my #2 son has just told me he has upended it into a field!

Don't know the extent of the damage yet, but I fear it may well be a write-off

He appears OK (until SWMBO gets hold of him ) which is good.

I'll have a look at the "damage" in the morning, when it's light (and I'm sober )

Anyway, watch this post - it may well change into......

"Parts from very damaged car available - no reasonable offer refused"

OK - here's the damage!

thru the hedge and into the field!

must have had a little roll on the way!

gaining a few modifications.....

oh look! a couple of straight panels

but another few bent ones

and finally.........

good job it wasn't the M3!

so she has gone for insurance assessment - will it rub out you think?

I managed to rescue the front spoiler, which is in amazing condition considering

and the 4 wheel centre caps!

Any offers????

it's only metal. At least nobody was hurt.
Hopefully it teaches him a lesson. There is only a very small gap between luck and disaster.

Your correct of course Uwe, but "playing" around with the Advanced stuff as I do, you get to hear all the bad stuff.

Four killed here last weekend, one car bump, car versus tree, two lads about 18, two girls 17 & 16 if I remember correctly.

So a word or two, and perhaps some on road active "advice" for a mates son is the least I can offer.

Best Wishes

Nigel

Lucky, very lucky.

A mate of mine was killed by underage drivers - his press van was ploughed into by an Audi driven by a 15 year old and his mate - all of them were wiped out. This was taken without his fathers consent. At least he only hit a field..

Some people learn the hard way, some dont get the chance to learn from their mistakes - least he has that chance. And as said before, it's only metal..

..the rolling pin will hurt more..

He doesn't know how much yet. It was dark when he did it - hasn't seen the pictures yet.

Problem I have now (I suspect) is that the insurance company is going to under-value it for write-off.

Any ideas on how I'm going to PROVE how much it's worth, say 1000?

All help / links welcome.

Dare I say it Simon, but the E30zone has loads on there from time to time for around and above that money. Worth a try?
