Hi Guys, im new on here. Bought a nice 328 Sport about 3 weeks ago. but since then i cannot get the horn to work. I have checked the fuse and relay and they are fine. Checked horn itself and thats fine too. Measured the voltage at the connector to the horn nothing!. Check voltage at fuse and relay, 12 volts.

What else can i check as my MOT is due in about 3 weeks!!

Cheers Si

Removing the Steering Wheel

This procedure is described in the Bentley Manual.

If I remember rightly, there are two bolts on the rear of the steering wheel, when undone release the airbag cover (centre of wheel).
Disconnect the airbag electrical connector, and remove the airbag as a whole piece.
The steering wheel can then be removed by undoing the central nut (maybe about 19mm) and pulling off of the splined shaft.

Definitely worth disconnecting the battery for this one, You don't want the airbag going off!!

THIS IS FROM MEMORY SO IT SHOULD BE DOUBLE CHECKED!!!!!!
