Has anybody installed an OBC in an E36? Is wiring it up a big job or can it just be plugged in?
Cheers,
Dylan.

Simatic put a partial one into his that had external temp etc.. He said afterward that he wished he had got the full OBC as alot of the stuff is there for it. I can't quantify what 'alot of the stuff' is though!

llatsni bought the 18 button one for his '98 e36 but there was no wiring for it at all so he didn't fit it.

But I'd fit it anyway. Even if it doesn't work it looks better than the crappy analogue clock.

I've seen a few for sale complete with wiring but am not sure how easy they are to connect.

Cheers,
Dylan.
