Yeah I did this recently as the breather hose on mine is lower than the filler cap level so when I fill the bottle with screen wash it overflows down the breather hose and the level then drops in the neck of the washer bottle. I had a fidget with the breather hose but I couldn't get any improvement. Will need to try harder next time. Andrew |

what a carry on to do a 5 second job ... my window washer pump clogged up last night and tonight i decided to take out the pump and see if it had a rubber fillter on it jack up car (front drivers wheel) wheel off, then make a start on the 12 or so 8mm screw/bolt's that hold the plastic splash gaurd in place .... AHHH there you are, slide of the pump remove rubber fillter, clean out the gunge within the fillter then replace in reverse order all in it's a good hour's bit of work to remove and refit everything and about 5 sec's to clean out the fillter!!! same set up as most vauxhall's except they have the washer bottle sat on the inner wing within the engine bay ... now that is a 5 sec job all in on a VX/Hall |
