got every thing sorted g-friend took down to specialists cant fit it but had a look at old unit and said it was fine cd had jammed in side of it what a joke bmw said it was broke and not fixable... so may now sell the other unit... but thats for reply's

its the exact same player just different connections should be able to do some thing hopefully sent girlfriend today to audio shop see what can be done as halfords a joke...

If memory serves me correctly those cd changers are not interchangable even if you were to splice the plugs on it would not work. Halfords never do have a clue! Edited by Sporty1 |

Hi got a bmw se compact 2000 e36 and cd player was borken bought e46 cd changer but leads are different in the boot,been to halfords dont do leads any ideas halfords said you could buy connections and splice no problem doing this however need a idea of wiring if its different or if leads can be found any ideas are appreciated thanks....
