yeah, a bit hacked off with mine, its perfect on the rhs cill but the left hand side, and most exposed in its right handed envronment previous has got a bad bit at the back against the wheel arch, not thro but grinning!

normally ok although you can get some evil rust round the jacking points and at the front box section.

I guess you mean ones that have side skirts fitted.
I've never had skirts fitted and I've always painted E30 ones with black smoothrite (smooth hammerite) or black vinyl paint (stuff railings are painted with, plastic type finish) to protect them.
