Hi all, can anyone recommend a good bmw specialist to fit a Crank shaft sensor in the leamington spa area or leicester (i work here). I have just moved to the area and dont know of any good garages. I like to feel comfortable that i get a good job done. Cheers |

Its should be easy enough to fit, but the main thing is that the mechanic feeds the sensor's cable through like the current one. (Some garages may be a bit sneaky and find it easier to re-route the cable and this will end up in your cable touching other parts and getting hot and destroyed - this happened to me, they didn't seat the cable in the cable holder, so it rested on the thermostat and when the engine was hot I got smoke under the bonnet!). |
