I think I'm outdoing myself in the triviality stakes here but can anyone shed any light on why, as I look out into the staff car park, everybody else's cars have dried out after the rain earlier, but mine has very obvious puddles of water all over the bodywork? It's always like this!
Is it something to do with wax? |

Whilst I do not know for sure....I believe that it is...
My car is just the same..lovely big drops of water all over the car when everyone else's car is dry...as the wax causes the water to form together into bigger drops it takes longer for the water to dry off. I have even taken to trying to spot other waxed cars on rainy days here...so far no joy! |

The better protected by polish the car is, the more the rain drops stick together in big clumps. With little or no protection, the rain rolls down the body and sticks to the paint, forming a wet film all over the car. This spreads the moisture over a wider area, making it dry quicker. What you have is a good thing, it means your car is protected! Mike Edited by 540 V8 |
