had a great day... really enjoyed the track, was able to learn more about my car, how she handles in the wet was very suprising!! another good thing about the rain was at least the tyres where not torn to bits!  roll on the next one.

Sounds like you all had a great day - despite the weather!! I was so depressed all day yesterday (coz I couldn't go)!

Was there a good turn out??

You should have come Denis. Twas very wet so you wouldn't have worn the tyres. Not that many on track, but I'd say a few people would have been worried because of the conditions.

Had a great day yesterday, thanks to all those who let me tag along around the track. I met a few new guys namely Alex, Ben and Finbarr and also caught up with many of the regulars. THe weather made life interesting on track but it was actually more fun, wouldn't you agree Ger. My cousin who drives a 530d came with me for the first time and really enjoyed the experience and will be back.

I enjoyed the day and being there as a passenger and not a driver really is less tiring.
Enjoyed a few drives with people; >45 minutes out with Brendan Purcell, a spin with Digweed (lets turn of ASC!).
The best IMO was a trip with Jonathan Kenny in the rally 02. A totally raw experience under very skilful hands. I don't think there was a turn where the car wasn't sliding and the power was lifted!

In all fairness, the behaviour of drivers was quite good. A few black flags were issued but generally for cars spinning unintentionally. Unfortunatley a few cars got a bit of damage but not through reckless behaviour AFAIK. Well done folks and again thanks to Ger for organising it.

Agreed. Nobody held me up (apart from Luke ) and I don't think I held up anyone. Plenty of room on the track for everyone to have a few laps without being disturbed.

Thanks to Ger and the staff at Mondello. I hope we'll be back next Spring.

Killian

Was the turn-out sufficient to make the event break even at least?

Will the BDD continue?

Thanks to the organisers for a great day out.

Quick question - who was driving the blue '01 M3, and who had the light blue M3?

I think that this photo sums up how people felt coming in off the track...

Sorry if it's a bit blurry - it was taken from the top of the control tower!

Closer -

Alex - yours was the pale blue KK reg e36 M3, wasn't it?

I have about 20 pictures where you're behind the CSL lap after lap, and he didn't seem to be getting away from you!

Luke - so far at least 26 with your car featured, 20 of them with just your car in it.  Have only renamed 400 shots so far, so may have more.
