M5 e34 millage clock disapeared

   the millage clock on the dash has gone out. Still running if you look with a torch. But has no light coming from it. 

anyone had similar experiences.

recently helped a mate jump start his car from mine. Could this of shorted it. - Bothering me as selling it may be a problem.

	Same thing happened on my car just after buying it, there is a small bulb behind the display which has blown, unfortunately its a dealer only part. The part number you need is 62 11 1 391 260 (12v 1.5W bulb). Hope that helps. Miles
