I have just bought an updated version of this software off ebay. However the seller didn't include and installation instructions. I have emailed the seller but wondered if anyone on here can help?

When you bung the 1st CD in doesn't it just self-install?

If not, just view the contents, and search through the folders for the 'SETUP.EXE' file (Mines in ...../ETK)

Double (left) click that, and follow the prompts - accept the defaults, it's always easiest!

Cats know your every thought.

But don't care.

1.  Install the ETK Parts CD first - go to the \win95\bmw\etk directory and run setup.exe, this will install a program called SYSADM (there should be an icon on the desktop)

2.  Run SYSADM, click EPC on the top menu bar and choose INSTALL, this will install the parts program (ETK), when this has installed when this has installed you can remove the CD.

3.  Insert the TIS CD, run SYSADM again, click on the TIS option on the top menu bar and choose INSTALL - if you get an option to install to Hard Disk or CD choose Hard Disk, this copies all the files from the CD so you won't need the CD to run either program

4.  You'll notice TIS and ETK icons in your programs menu under BMW95, and/or on the desktop

my version is about 3 years old so unsure how relevant those instructions will be to the newer ones

Thanks Stephen.

I managed to install TIS but EPC won't.

I think there is a problem with the setup.exe file on the EPC disk.

When I click it it opens up a set up window but then closes it straight away.

However if I run the setup.exe file in the TIS cd it installs sysadm and I can then install TIS. I cannot however install EPC.

Anyway I'm going on Holiday tomorrow so no time to think about it now.

Well the seller has asked me to return the second disc for him to try it.

Fingers crossed it's just a bug and a new disc will sort it.
