I have 365 days of life to go as I know it!

As of 2pm on August 25th 2007 I am getting married.

Just a shame I couldn't wangle a couple of BMW 7 Series to do as wedding cars cos her indoors who must be obeyed at all times has 3 bridesmaids so a 7 Series wouldn't be big enough.

Oh yes it would.

Unless they were wearing extra-super-flouncy dresses....

Grab your life with both hands while you still can, eh?

A 7 series would have been perfect for my wedding but she wanted a Rolls Royce Silver cloud.

Still it was a beautiful motor and dare I say it, a bit more fitting for a wedding than a 7 series

Good luck with the planning/organisation.

Best Wishes Andrew, this means you have a year to start stocking up the garage with all those things you won't be allowed to buy for your car anymore.

Three rings of marriage:

  • the engagement ring
  • the wedding ring
  • and then the suffering

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Congratulations!

You've already made the commitment, so think of this year as being out on bail 'til the sentencing!

But seriously, if you can't think positively about it, then you shouldn't be doing it! I'm 13 years in and have no regrets!!

The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think.

A married man is like a car and his wife is the driver.

She puts her foot down and you go however she wants you to,

She steers you in which ever direction she wants,

She changes your gear to what suits her,

She feeds you whatever fuel she wants to,

and at first you get serviced regularly but as you get older

you'll probably only get serviced occasionally.

the boot of the 7er would easily fit 3 bridesmaids so I don't know what your missus is on about.

Are we having a BMW-Board joint stag night for both Andrew & Tim?

I don't know why people are so worried about marriage.

It's the divorce that costs you.

Nothing wrong with marriage to the right person.

Only singletons tend to criticise it widely.....

I have never seen such a large number of replies to any of my posts before! Cheers guys

I read out some of your comments to the guys in my office and we were all in stitches! Nero, Steven, Rhys.

Killian - I'm up for a BMW-board stag doo with Tim!  Er I don't think you know who will let her bridesmaids get in the boot as she'll want to show their dresses off

She's away wedding dress shopping tomorrow also, which means I get to go white eater rafting with the lads from work!

None of the car hire places hire out 7 Series as they are not deemed big enough when compared to the Jags and Daimlers.  They just don't do them round the Glasgow area.

One place did have an old 7 Series , the one on a par with an E34 (sorry 7 Series dudes but I don't know the E number!) but the lady there said she was getting rid off it as it was too wee in the back.

There was no way I was getting into a Merc so it is Daimlers and an 1960's Roller as the main car.
