Both rear windows have now given up the ghost, you
can hear the click from the window when you press
the button but no movement. I tried the slam door
while pressing the button trick which works for a
while, but it is not a solution.

What is involved in correcting this problem, new
parts, cleaning existing parts?

Cheers.

when you say 'click' is that the relay you can hear or the window trying to open? I had a similar problem, too out all relays switches etc. cleaned em and when I put them back together everything worked - and still is three years later (tho now I've said they'll prob pack up again!)
The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think.

Cheers Derek, yes, I presume the click is the relay,
is it a big job to get at the two relays?

Aren't they under the rear seat ?

If so - dead easy, just give it a good yank - the back seats

My windows are acting up also, see 'moocmooc' message 21/7. Windows/roof still working\not working. Today I have noticed that occassionally the passenger side windows don't work but the those on the driver's side and roof do!.  When this happens clicking is heard in both under the rear seat and in the front door [can't make out if there is a click in the rear one]...anyway the point is, there may also be a relay in the door --hope this helps [!!??!!]
