Cheers Andy, Obviously a Lady with impeccable taste.

Steve, is that because of her car or coz she's my other half!

Would be interesting to see what the DVLA says about these 4 doors as there certainly isn't many about. When she was looking at the car before she bought it, we thought is was wrongly badged as they normally come as coupes. This one did have the correct engine for a late 318is though. Apparently they only came in Avus Blue, but there's another around our way that's also badged 318is, but this one's a maroon colour - does have the correct wheels. The missus's does have climate controlled AC too.

Cheers,

Mick

Guess that will have to be a yes to both Mick.

Not heard from the DVLA statistics people yet. They did make a few in other colours and some of the cars could be slightly different spec due to the options available. There also could be the odd few imported from South Africa where they were made in the mid 90's for about 3 years. The SA ones though were a basic spec 318i body with the iS engine. No leather or alloys etc.The proper UK version had a really good spec. If I get any more details or hear from DVLA I will let you know. If your going to Gaydon maybe I'll catch you there.

Cheers  Steve.
