Alpinas really suit the Six. They'll be a lot easier to clean too!
I fancied Alpinas but the availability & price were a bit of a hinderance so I ended up with Style 32's which are very similar. I found the ride, grip & handling were all improved by going imperial. You can always go down to 255/40's when the rears need replacing. |

It does, i was not so sure at first as i really liked the orginal TRX bbs wheels on my 6. I dont know if its just me but she seems to drive better, smooth and quite.I am happy to have made the change. |

Too right! Munich Legends had the wings repaired when I bought the car but the bodyshop they used had changed hands & shafted them by using glassfibre in the repair instead of metal. When the rust came back 11 months later ML just said get it fixed & send us the bill, whatever it costs. Can't say fairer than that! They now have new metal & are lead loaded with minimum filler (as it should be of course). You're right about the colours. I believe Macau must have been available without the M/Sport option as I've seen non-M's. Ross Harris's concours Six (he has so many!) is Macau iirc. |

I have seen your car in Total Bmw and she looks very smart,my front wings have also been done the same as yours it just at the bottom of the the wings now near the arches its started to bubble needs to get sorted asap but its hard to find somewhere that will take the time and trouble to do the job right.I have seen a few like yours and mine but have only ever seen 1 macau blue motorsport ed 6 they must be a rare colour.

I've got 9x17 with 255/40's on my M/Sport Ed. There's not a lot of clearance but they should fit.
Try Babel Fish for a translation. Ronal also do wheels for Saab. |

The 195TR415 alloys would be 19mm offset
Correct. They were responsible for the early 6x14 multi-spoke "Alpinas" fitted to the E9 CS/CSi/CSL coupes and early E24s
...and Audi / VW. The Ronal multi-spoke alloys were very desirable wheels for your Eighties Audi 80/90/100/200/GT/ur-Quattro Edited by Horsetan |

I have been told the tyres are okay the backs could do with being 255 or lower but the tyres are like new. Its just the ofset that i am worried about this bloke Peter at synters as really got me thinking. I won them on Germen ebay and they came last Tuesday from Hamburg. I cleaned them over the weekend and they are like new but they are a very deep dish. I got loads of paperwork with them but i cant read Germen but i did notice BMW 520 so i am thinking that what they where on. What does RONAL mean with regards to the wheels. Edited by NOGARO635 |
