    Posted: 19-May-2006 at 11:34

Hi,

Thinking of putting a 17" wheel on my E30, but was wondering whats best size? i.e 17 x 7.5 wide at front & 8 x 17 at rear?? Also what tyre size would be best, so they dont rub the wheel arches or the ride is not greatly effected??

Cheers

Any suggestions on what wheel to go for?? (keep in mind the car is black, cheers!)

First of all find a wheel you like

You want a deep dish look?

5 spoke look?

an aftermarket wheel?, Or do you want to stay OEM?

What kind of money are you willing to spend? Do you have a budget? Or do you want the best?

BBS RC''s are popular, BBS RS.

If you havn't allready, Check out these threads.....

Maybe this might give you an idea of what you want, Or find a wheel you like, Then once you got a wheel in mind, Then next step find a good tire set up

HTH

Evo.

Thanks guys!

I like the M Paralels, but dont think they are available in 17"?

Here is a link to a photo of the car at the moment (BBS 2piece split rims): http://www.bmwmovies.net/displayimage.php?album=lastupby& ;cat=0&pos=4

Would love to get these again in a smaller size or if not the Rondells 0058.....

Hi c76jon,

Your wheels look great on the car, think its something like what you have is what I'm after. Can you send me a link to more photos of them on the car or pm me and I'll send you on my email address.

Cheers mate
